As a fifth generation member of the Lorne community, I live and breathe the place. The Stewarts were one the original families to settle in Lorne, and like my forefathers I just can’t see why you’d want to leave.
Having schooled in Lorne, I moved away for university but each time I returned I realised there was nowhere better. I love the sense of community. My involvement with organisations such as the Nippers program and the hospital are part of a desire we each share to maintain benefits for future generations and ensure our town continues to thrive.
Everyone knows everyone, but that is wonderful.
