Lorne Post Office

  • The Lorne Post Office provides all postal facilities including postage, fax, photocopier and printing services, giftware, office needs, postcards and more.

    Dahle and Jenny McGregor are among the newest members of the Lorne community having taken possession of the Lorne Post Office in July 2010. Dahle grew up in a town called Lalbert near Swan Hill – he is a mechanic by trade, although he has pursued other careers. Dahle spent some 16 years working and running a Newsagency.

    Jenny has lived most of her life in Melbourne – she has a background in nursing and pathology. The couple have a busy family life with four wonderful children each. Moving to Lorne seemed an easy choice for Jenny with fond memories of summer holidays. All it took was a quick tour with Dahle and he was also sold on the idea. Both Dahle and Jenny love the benefits of living in a small community and the fantastic coastal location.

    Jenny and Dahle love Lorne and all its surrounds, from the serenity of bushwalks and waterfalls to a gentle stroll along the unique coast. There is something special about falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and waking to chirpy birdlife ready to begin yet another day in paradise!
