The Bottle of Milk

  • Regarded as some of Victoria’s best burgers…The Bottle of Milk prides itself on using only local, 100 per cent premium quality Australian beef. All of our burgers are served in freshly baked organic, sourdough “La Madre” buns and combined with accompaniments made in house or locally by “Four Fat Martians.” The Bottle of Milk coffee is delivered from Melbourne by “7 Seeds” and freshly ground in store.

    The Bottle of Milk has been trading as a gourmet burger restaurant/cafe since 2007. Opened by Brett Graham and Robert Lowther, the inspiration behind The Bottle of Milk was to provide a beachside family favourite with quality ingredients and fresh, local produce.

    Choose from either 25 indoor seats, 60 outdoor seats or takeaway. We also have a public toilet and can cater for large groups on request.

    Despite a thirst for travelling, we always return to Lorne because of the beautiful coastline, surfing, swimming, bike riding and mainly the unique sense of community.
