Ovenhouse

  • The Ovenhouse restaurant has been a fixture in the Lorne streetscape for 20 years. With a relaxed and friendly vibe, they are renowned for their wood oven pizzas, seafood, house made pasta, the slow roasted lamb and attentive staff. With an ever-changing menu there is something for everyone.

Enjoy the atmosphere over a long lunch or book in the evening to see the restaurant come alive. In the cooler months come and enjoy a glass of wine by the open fire.

We believe in sourcing fresh produce from local regions, supporting local wineries and buying Australian made and owned products where possible. We support Oakdene Vineyards, Bests wines, Austins wines, Loutitt Bay Bakery and Portarlington mussels.

Features an 80 seat restaurant (including al fresco area), caters for small functions, traditional French crepes of an evening in the courtyard and projector with media input available.

Having spent every summer in Lorne since I was six months old, I really feel like I grew up here. My first job was in Lorne, I learned to surf here and I fell in love here. Lorne truly is a magical place. What’s not to Love about Lorne?
