Drumstrong Lorne 2014

Are you interested in drumming? Do you like helping out a good cause? Then why not participate in Drumstrong Lorne, 2014?

Drumstrong is an international drumming event to raise awareness and funds for cancer organisations. Drumstrong Lorne will be one of 70 events throughout the world drumming on May 18th, drumming to BEAT cancer.

The event will be a non-stop drumming circle for 4 hours (10am – 2pm) on Sunday, May 18th. There is one main drum that must continue non-stop throughout the event but other drums and percussion instruments will be more than welcome and people can come and go from the circle as they please. The fund raising aspect is gained by getting businesses and/or individuals to donate to the charity, accepting donations at the event and getting participants to gain sponsors for time drummed. All proceeds from Drumstrong Lorne 2014 will be going to help Bowel Cancer Australia.

While the main event occurs in Charlotte, NC, USA on May 17th, all of the global events will connect to the main event via webcams during various times throughout the weekend enabling us all around the world to beat together.
